My father was born in China in 1910. He leave his hometown single-handed from China to Taiwan and join in the army cause the civil war.

When my father service army in the Taiwan. He was a second lieutenant. My father’s troops moved to the Penghu islands which is median between Taiwan and China. He was through friends made the acquaintance of my mother.

When period of time later , they knew each other enough. That was a traditional generation and there was infrequency in recreational doings and never saw the movies in the movie theater. So I hear of my father where they had a date often in the cemetery and they just chat all night.

At first , my mother’ family against they affiliate with each other. But my parents in defiance of against, they were moved to Taiwan and got married. My parents are bourgeois pair but envy by everyone.

Sometimes I would remember something about my father when we life together.
That was a summer day, we already knew father's symptoms of a disease, In the early morning, my parents and I went to the WULAI to relax our mood and felt the fresh of nature. We took the bus to the WULAI, but the destination was in the remote mountains. When bus stopped at the terminus. We waited the taxi when it passed.
Thus, we staied there in a little while. The breeze was gentle blowing and sunshine out of the mountains and to reflect on the surface of river. I caught the moment of time and took many pictures included my father with his wan and sallow.
It must be in somewhere. I mean the pictures. Before I came to New York. I looked for the pictures about that day that I took many pictures. But I couldn't find it. Maybe it were existence in some place or under my bed. One day I will very happy to see it and it will bring out many memory about my father.
